What You'll Do

• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve residents' swallowing, cognitive, and communication functions
• Adapt communication strategies to enhance residents' understanding and expression
• Lead, guide, and document speech therapy and audiology services in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate personalized resident care
• Monitor and report on progress, adjusting care plans as needed
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques

What You Need

• Required:
• Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Long Term Care or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred:
• Experience developing treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility
