Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current licensure as a school social worker (or eligibility for such licensure)
• Prior experience in school-based social work strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), crisis intervention, and case management
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and outside agencies
• Compassionate, resourceful, and dedicated to supporting diverse student populations
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify and address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans and support services
• Deliver crisis intervention and counseling to students as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to promote student success
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings, offering insights and recommendations
• Connect students and families to appropriate community resources
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
