Shop & Yard Worker – Morgantown, WV

Full-Time Shop & Yard Worker | Up to $18/Hour + Overtime | Morgantown, WV

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Shop & Yard Workers for a growing oil and gas company in Morgantown, WV . This is a full-time, Monday–Friday industrial job with competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and on-the-job training .

No previous oil and gas experience is required!

Pay: Up to $18.00/hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Overtime: Available

Shop & Yard Worker Job Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks with assistance from forklift operators
Move, organize, and maintain industrial pipe in the yard
Use hand tools and power tools
Place boards and tubing between layers of pipe
Install thread protectors and apply pipe dope
Operate a forklift if qualified
Assist with overhead crane operations
Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment
Pressure wash and paint equipment
Perform high- and low-pressure equipment testing
Assist with general shop and yard duties
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
Follow all company safety procedures

Shop & Yard Worker Requirements

Previous hand tool or power tool experience preferred
Industrial, construction, warehouse, or oil and gas experience is a plus
Must be comfortable working in an industrial and outdoor environment
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Reliable transportation
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, evenings, or on-call hours when needed
Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
