Outside Sales Account Manager – Fluid Process Equipment / Pump Sales Northern Wisconsin & Upper Peninsula, Michigan About the Role Our client, a leading provider of pumps, products, and services for fluid handling requirements with over 30 years in business, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to drive growth across the Northern Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula Michigan territory (Fox River Valley area). This isn't a typical outside sales role — it's an opportunity to combine technical expertise with consultative selling to help industrial customers solve complex process challenges. With the support of experienced Inside Sales professionals, leading manufacturers, and technical resources, you'll have the autonomy to grow your business and the earning potential to be rewarded for your success. This is an established, well-performing territory with a strong customer base in pulp & paper, ethanol, and food & beverage , carrying respected product lines including Sulzer, Moyno, and Zenith pumps. There's real opportunity to grow through Industrial Repair services and cross-selling into the existing account base. Essential Functions Manage and grow an established territory by strengthening existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities Meet with engineers, technicians, plant managers, and procurement professionals to recommend process pump solutions and related parts Build trusted relationships with customers and manufacturer partners by providing technical expertise and application support Conduct product training and educational presentations with customers and engineering firms to position solutions early in project specifications Collaborate with Inside Sales to review specifications, develop competitive quotations, and deliver exceptional customer service Provide technical guidance on equipment selection, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM records Increase market share through strategic account management, consultative selling, and new business development Participate in manufacturer training programs and professional organizations to maintain product and industry expertise Experience, Education & Skills HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred 3+ years of outside industrial sales experience preferred Direct pump/fluid process equipment experience is beneficial but not required — candidates with rotating equipment sales, engineering, or technical service backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply Demonstrated success growing territory revenue, developing new business, and managing consultative sales opportunities Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and product specifications Strong consultative selling, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at every level, from maintenance technicians to executive leadership Self-motivated with excellent planning, organization, and time management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Field-based role requiring travel primarily via local day trips throughout the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel for training and business development We Offer Competitive base salary plus uncapped monthly commission on gross margin Company vehicle provided Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and sick time Company laptop and cell phone Ongoing manufacturer training and professional development opportunities Strong support from experienced Inside Sales professionals and manufacturer partners The autonomy to manage your territory and build lasting customer relationships #J-18808-Ljbffr Flowtec Group
