Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Tuesday Start)
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care, ensuring both mother and infant's safety during labor and delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal health during labor.
- Assist in labor management and delivery procedures, including Cesarean sections.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Operating Room (O.R.) Circulator experience preferred.
