Parker Ranger Duties

As a Parker Ranger your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Develops and presents interpretive programs.
  2. Compiles and submits collection, remittance, and reporting of recreation user entrance fees.
  3. Assists with the management of wildlife-dependent recreation opportunities.
  4. Assists with coordination and management of reservation program and commercial tour programs.
  5. Prepares and conducts on and off-site environmental education programs for a variety of audiences.
  6. Monitors visitor facilities for safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.
  7. Assists with the implementation of a comprehensive public outreach program through written and oral communication.
