Registered Nurse | Hospice Inpatient | 2nd shift | Full-time (32 hours/week) Faith Hospice has a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse who feels the call to serve patients at the end of life and to work as an essential part of an inpatient hospice care team that shares a special gift. Our Trillium Woods Inpatient Hospice facility in Byron Center is seeking a compassionate RN to join our care team. Responsibilities Assess patient conditions and comfort, communicating changes to physicians, family, and caregivers Implement and revise individualized care plans, managing discomfort and providing symptom relief Administer medication, perform treatments, and coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Group for care planning Deliver specialized hospice training to staff, family, and caregivers for optimal patient care Educate patients and families on disease processes and provide emotional support Maintain communication with physicians and other disciplines Build trusting relationships and complete required documentation promptly Schedule 2nd shift | 2:30pm - 10:00pm Schedule repeats every 2 weeks: Week #1: Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat Week #2: Sun, Tue, Wed, Fri Eligible for pick‑up pay, if you choose to pick up extra shifts: an additional $4/hour if you pick up on a weekday an additional $6/hour if you pick up on a weekend an additional $8/hour if you pick up on a holiday Skills To Be Successful Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability Self‑directed and autonomous Strong prioritization skills Organized Comfort with navigating various technologies and computer applications Collaborative team player mindset Education And Experience RN licensure in Michigan At least 2 years of med/surg, acute care, or skilled nursing experience Hospice and/or hospital experience preferred Passion for hospice nursing #J-18808-Ljbffr
