Hannibal also offers an on-site fitness center and coach, an on-site credit union, and a culture employees value for its family-friendly events, including a company picnic and annual softball tournament.Starting Pay: $19/hour$1/hour for hours worked on off-shiftsUp to $21.34 per hour after 3 months of employment (based on completion of training)Up to $27.81 per hour after 1 year of employment (based on completion of training)Up to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually (depending on schedule)11 paid company holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, life insuranceCareer growth and cross-training opportunities12-hour shifts (Shift schedule will be determined upon hire)5:00 pm to 5:00 am6:00 pm to 6:00 am6:30 pm to 6:30 amMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as neededPlant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.As part of our manufacturing team, you will:Support packaging and processing operationsParticipate in equipment startup, changeovers, and shutdownsTroubleshoot equipment issues and partner with MaintenanceCalibrate systems to meet required specificationsPerform quality and safety checksClean and sanitize production equipment and work areasParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesAssist in training new employeesSupport production tasks such as bagging, stacking, counting, paper feeding, oiling, and related line operationsAssist other plant areas as assignedHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of work experienceExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferredAbility to work rotating 12-hour shiftsMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergensManufacturing or production experienceApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
