Advance your career in the Maryland/DC region! We invite you to join our team of multispecialty anesthesiologists at the University of Maryland. We're seeking board-eligible/board-certified MD/DO anesthesiologists to support our rapidly expanding growth, working in operating room, procedural and obstetrics suite environments. Opportunities currently exist at our Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) practice. Duties include clinical care and some teaching of learners at various levelsstudent registered nurse anesthetists, residents, etc.

Our academic department is dedicated to helping faculty obtain outstanding skills and additional certifications in ultrasound, simulation, quality/safety/clinical research and expertise in many other disciplines. Our department has a very strong research profile (#14 national 2024 Blue Ridge Ranking) and a major focus on quality/safety/clinical research, supported by a perioperative data warehouse and membership in the Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG). Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate's experience. Additional Information
Salary: $310,000- $518,000
The referenced salary range reflects fixed base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Anesthesiology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in Department of Anesthesiology incentive compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department.
