Lead I - Software Engineering/Java Developer

Job Title

Skills and experiences: We are looking for candidates with a maximum of 5-6 years of total experience in Java development. Specifically, we need 4 plus years of experience with hands on development, testing, and troubleshooting of complex backend Java programs. Required skills include strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and familiarity with Java frameworks. Hands-on experience in developing Spring Boot applications, including dependency injection, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and REST API development is also necessary. Understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications is required. Strong familiarity with Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud is preferred. Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices is also important. Proficiency in writing SQL queries, managing databases, and understanding of relational database concepts is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also important for this role. Candidates should be able to articulate past projects and do on the fly troubleshooting/write logic during evaluation.
