As a Security Officer Access Credential Rounds in Pensacola, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge-related processes. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a professional environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and assist with directing guests to appropriate public service areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, public areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
