About the Opportunity

Commonwealth Emergency Physicians (CEP) is an independent, physician-owned emergency medicine group serving Northern Virginia. We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Emergency Medicine residency-trained physician to join our dedicated night team. Based at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia, this position offers a stable, supportive environment in a private group known for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and flexible scheduling.

Practice Environment

CEP provides emergency services at three closely located facilities within the nationally recognized Inova Health System, offering physicians variety and consistency within the same cohesive team:

• Inova Loudoun Hospital Emergency Room and Inova Children’s Emergency Room at Loudoun Hospital (Leesburg, VA):
• 40,000 annual visit Adult ED
• Dedicated pediatric ED seeing an additional 20,000 annual visit staffed separately by Board Certified/Board Eligible pediatric emergency medicine physicians
• 33-bed adult ED and 11-bed pediatric ED
• Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Cath Lab, MICU, STICU
• Epic EMR
• Inova Emergency Room – Leesburg (Cornwall) Medical Campus (Downtown Historic Leesburg, VA):
• 15,000 annual visit freestanding, full-service emergency department serving adult and pediatric patients
• This high acuity site provides access to exceptional emergency medical care in Western Loudoun County
• Inova Emergency Room – Ashburn (Ashburn, VA):
• 15,000 annual visit freestanding, full-service emergency department serving adult and pediatric patients

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Residency-trained in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Virginia medical license

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation with an average range of $205 - $225 per hour with RVUs and shift differentials
