We are looking for energetic peoplewho areinterested in working with individualson the autism spectrum to help them perform to the best of their abilities. Qualities of a successful candidate include a caring attitude, the desire to support students/participants to complete academic, life skills, social-emotional activities, and feel comfortable, as part of a team, in accompanying students/participants during community-based instruction. Paraprofessionals work alongside the classroom teacher to support the daily needs and IEP goals of their students.This is the perfectposition to gain experience in the field of autism. Full time and part time positions available in our day school and adult program Full time hours - Monday - Friday 8am -3:30pm Flexible part time hours Perfect Schedule for your work-life balance needs! Follows the public school calendar, with an additional 6-week Extended School Year (June-July with shortened hours)! 10 days of Paid Time Off 8 weeks of scheduled time off (holidays and breaks), plus National Holidays Benefits for full time employees includemedical, dental, vision,etc. 401k Retirement plan with an employer match PTO; Partial Paid Maternity Leave Academic Calendar with 6 week Extended School Year Paraprofessional or Substitute licenserequired upon hire. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive direct care and instructional support to students with autism spectrum disorders.
