The Opportunity

We are looking for a closer, not a real estate person. Real Estate experience is not required. High-level sales experience is. If you've closed in cars, solar, insurance, or software, you already have the skill that matters here. We teach the product. We can't teach the drive.

The mechanics of the real estate side, we teach you in your first 90 days. Reading a person on a phone call, hearing what they actually want underneath what they are saying, and holding a number when they push back are not things we can teach. That is what we are screening for.

You will be closing residential acquisitions directly with property owners across Florida and select growth markets. Some of what we buy moves fast. Some of it is older housing stock where the value is in the land, not the house.

The owners on the other end of those calls are not distressed. They are long-tenure holders, second home owners, and heirs. Many own free and clear and have for decades. They are financially literate, they are in no hurry, and they will know within one sentence whether you are reading a script. Winning them takes a real conversation and the nerve to say a number out loud and let it sit there.

This is a remote, high-volume phone seat. There is no office; you work from home. Fieldwork across Palm Beach and Miami-Dade (property visits, owner meetings) is required as needed, which is why you must live locally.

Compensation: On-target earnings of $150,000 in year one, built on a competitive base salary plus upside commission on every deal you close. Redevelopment acquisitions pay at a premium tier. A draw is available during your first 90 days while your pipeline matures. Top performers on this desk are not capped. Base salary is discussed on the first call.

What You Will Own

• Every seller conversation from first contact through a signed contract

• A live pipeline of 30 to 50 active opportunities, managed without anyone checking your work

• Pricing conversations, offer structure, and negotiation directly with owners

• Two quotas: conventional residential acquisitions and redevelopment site acquisitions

• Follow-up discipline on longer cycle opportunities that take 60 to 120 days to mature

• Clean CRM hygiene and honest weekly numbers

What You Bring

• Must live in Palm Beach County or Miami-Dade County. The role is remote, but field work comes up as needed, so you need to be local. Out-of-area applicants will not be considered.

• Five or more years selling something meaningful to people who could afford to say no, with a sales cycle of 60 days or longer

• A close rate you can quote from memory and defend

• Proven ability to negotiate directly with a decision maker, not funnel them to someone else

• The instinct to read what a person actually wants behind what they are telling you

• The ability to name a price and hold it when the other side pushes

• Self-managed pipeline discipline. Nobody here will chase you for updates.

• Tolerance for real call volume. This is not a two-appointments-a-day job.

• Stable work history

Where you learned to sell matters less than whether you can. Commercial insurance, wealth management, capital equipment, medical device, enterprise B2B, private client services, and high-ticket direct sales all produce people who do well here. Real estate experience is welcome, but it is not an advantage on its own, and we do not weight it heavily.

Who This Is Not For

If your playbook is urgency, scarcity, and pressure, this desk will eat you. That approach does not work on the owners we deal with, and we do not use it.

Applicants who move forward will be asked to send a 60-second voice recording introducing themselves. It takes two minutes, and it is the fastest way for us to hear how you carry a conversation. This is a phone seat, so we screen for that early.
