Location & Shift Queens, New York - Night shift (United States of America) Job Title Surgical Technologist - Labor & Delivery - Part Time Night Job Overview Join our high-profile team at NewYork‑Presbyterian/Queens Hospital, a Level1 Trauma Center that provides a full range of surgical treatments across 21 Operating Rooms using cutting‑edge techniques and technologies. In this role you will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team, assisting in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. It is a Part‑Time Night position (18.75hrs/week; 5 shifts biweekly; 11PM–7:15AM) at 56‑45Main Street, Flushing, NY. Preferred Criteria Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting. Required Criteria Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA). If a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire. Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting. High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of Perioperative Nursing Practice & Patient Care.
