Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: NICU RNPM POSITION Every other weekend required. 3 years experience required. No first time travelers accepted. 1:3 Ratio Floating is required to a stepdown NICU unit. This traveler position would most likely care for CPAPs/HFNC/RAM/etc and intermediate patients. If items are not marked would not be expected to have those patients.

CERTS- BLS, NRP REQ Skills- NICU II and NICU III Skills REQ., Telemetry on the unit monitoring. Blood glucose monitoring, Hyperbilirubinemia, Phototherapy, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk Patient Types- Neonates 29-34 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Neonatal Sepsis, Sepsis Work Up, IV therapy, Administration of blood & blood products, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Anti-Seizure Medications, Neonatal dosage calculations, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. Other Skills- Developmental Care, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Thermoregulation, Respiratory distress syndrome Documentation- Cerner
