Senior Project Manager - Product Implementation

Position Overview Senior Project Manager responsible for the successful execution of larger client-facing, revenue-generating professional service engagements involving the delivery of Deluxe solutions in various stages from pre‑production-ready to fully deployed. Key responsibilities include facilitating software modifications by extended project team members, ensuring high‑quality client delivery, meeting project deadlines and goals, and staying within project budgets. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans and timelines, setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities for the entire engagement. Monitor project progress; coordinate resources and activities for internal project team members, vendors, third‑party partners, and client stakeholders from initiation to completion. Prepare and deliver project status reports for internal and external stakeholders, including operations and top‑level executives. Manage projects ranging from 1,500 to 5,000 hours in scope and oversee up to five concurrent projects, with an overall portfolio of $1.5 to $2.5MM in revenue. Review sales order documents (e.g., SOW, Order Agreements) to understand scope, deliverables, and required resources. Participate in transition discussions from Sales to Professional Services to verify understanding and clarify outstanding questions efficiently. Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned from projects. Identify and manage potential risks by assessing likelihood and impact, and establish mitigation plans. Resolve project issues by clarifying, diagnosing, and selecting the best solution, expediting corrections, and following up to ensure resolution. Escalate issues according to the appropriate level of engagement to achieve timely and satisfactory resolution. Provide accurate forecasting for project revenue and billable service hours. Ensure optimal resource utilization by managing and updating project and resource schedules, and releasing resources promptly for other billable activities. Basic Qualifications (BQs) Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on project management. Five years of project‑management experience, including five years of managing projects for external clients. Professional Management (PM) Certification is required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. At least five years of project‑management experience with minimum five years serving external clients. Compensation Annual base salary range: $125,000.00 – $145,000.00, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity. Eligible for commission or annual performance incentive plan.
