Travel Registered Nurse - Operating (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Operating for a 13-week travel assignment in Tuba City, AZ 86045.

Contract Details

• 10-hour shifts from 6:30am - 5:00pm 4 shifts per week, plus on call
  
• Start Date: 10/19/2026

• Hourly Pay: $ 35.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 2296.00
  
• Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
  
• EMR Used: Allscripts
  
• ORIENTATION: Every 2 weeks
  
• COVID & FLU EXEMPTIONS: May accept after declination form is submitted
  
• HOUSING APP: Must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start
  
• Shared housing units at $600 per month, based on availability. No family or pets allowed.

The Clinical Nurse provides care for the Perioperative Patient. The nursing process includes assessment, formulation of nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, and evaluation of interventions per patient outcomes. The Operating Room clinical nurse is expected to circulate in all specialty areas. These may include Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Obtaining Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged. May have to work varied, odd hours when on call; and prepare for emergency cases on very short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
  
• Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
  
• Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health and managing occasional emergencies
  
• Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts
  
• Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
  
• Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
  
• Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious material
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have Two (2) year clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience.
  
• Must have at least 3 years of RN experience
  
• Must have Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association within six (6) months of hire
  
• National institutes of Health (NIH)-NIHSS-NIH stroke scale must be completed within 6 months of hire
  
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) must be completed within 1 year of hire
  
• Trauma Nurse core courses (TNCC) within two (2) years of hire
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
