We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born salesperson with a desire to make a difference in peoples lives. You will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the office by offering products that people and businesses need for their security and peace of mind. You will market and sell our insurance products to existing clients and new customers by pursuing and responding to their requests and needs. You will be trained to act as a consultant for families and businesses, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate products and means of meeting those needs. As a full-time, Licensed Sales Specialist you will help individuals, families, and small businesses protect their dreams and secure their tomorrows.

Responsibilities
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, lead and customer databases.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross-sell and up-sell opportunity including life insurance products.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals by practicing consultative selling methods.
  • Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices.
  • Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
Requirements
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual who is committed to success.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently and is supportive of team members.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • Equipped with great listening and closing skills.
  • Maintain follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Capable of handling customer and prospective client rejection.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Sales career-minded vision; sales experience preferred.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established by the agency.
  • No prior insurance experience required, but preferred.
  • Obtain and maintain Wisconsin Insurance License in Life, Property & Casualty as a condition of employment.
