Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Hospital operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Swing Shift: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Overnight Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend availability preferred.

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center is seeking an Emergency & Critical Care LVT to join our collaborative team of emergency and specialty professionals.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Provide skilled technical care to emergent and critically ill patients
• Triage and stabilize incoming ER cases as they arrive
• Assist the ER and specialty doctors with procedures, diagnostics, and treatments
• Monitor ICU and hospitalized patients, including telemetry and post-op recovery
• Administer medications, CRIs, and fluid therapy under doctor direction
• Place IV and central catheters, draw and run in-house labs, and track patient trends
• Support anesthesia, sedation, and analgesia for emergency cases
• Keep treatment sheets and medical records accurate and current
• Coach and support assistants and newer technicians on the floor
• Collaborate daily with the ER doctor team, technical staff, and specialty support
• Help sustain a supportive, high-functioning ER floor culture

What You Bring

• Active Washington LVT license, or eligibility to obtain WA licensure prior to start
• Emergency, ICU, or specialty nursing experience is a plus, though we will train the right candidate
• Confident venipuncture, catheter placement, and patient monitoring skills, plus the composure to stay steady during high-acuity cases
• Clear communication and strong teamwork; fluent English speaking and reading skills required
• Genuine care for patients and a team-first approach to the ER floor
