Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding school-based opportunity where you can make a lasting impact on students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated OT to join a supportive educational team serving students throughout the Brentwood area.
This opportunity allows you to apply your clinical expertise in a collaborative environment while helping students improve independence, confidence, and participation in the classroom.
Compensation$40-55+ Per Hour
Pay is based on experience, credentials, assignment details, and specialized skill sets.

Position Responsibilities
Complete occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
California Occupational Therapist Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess:
Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active California Occupational Therapist License
Current NBCOT certification
Ability to complete all required district and state background clearances
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric or school-based OT experience
Experience working with special education populations
Knowledge of IEP processes and school-based therapy services
Familiarity with sensory integration, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment
Strong organizational and documentation skills
