We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to join our team on a per diem, variable schedule basis. This role requires clinical and operational expertise in assessing, treating, and caring for patients across various age groups, following Erickson's Model. The pharmacist will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication use through clinical interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review physician medication orders for dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and incompatibilities.
• Enter medication orders into the computer system and dispense medications accordingly.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist in training and orienting new staff members.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy is required.

Experience and Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential. The candidate should possess interpersonal skills that foster cooperative peer relationships. A thorough understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws at both state and national levels is necessary.

Requirements: Ability to read and interpret physician orders and medication labels accurately. Manual dexterity to operate computers, typewriters, compound prescriptions, and prepare IV admixtures. Effective communication with coworkers and patients is crucial.

Licenses and Certifications: Must hold a valid pharmacist license from the appropriate state board of pharmacy.
