Job Description

CNC Machinist

Location: Winsted, CT

Schedule:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Compensation: Up to $35/hr DOE + Shift Differential for 2nd & 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
Machine precision components to tight tolerances
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
Monitor part quality and make necessary tooling and offset adjustments
Troubleshoot machining and setup issues
Maintain a safe and organized work area

Qualifications

3+ years of CNC machining experience
Experience performing machine setups and adjustments
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Working knowledge of GD&T
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Aerospace, turbine, or other precision manufacturing experience preferred
