Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to. Previous employment must be disclosed on the resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Required Skills/Experience: Prior floating experience required, including float pool shifts, other facilities, and/or floating to other floors/units.

Preferred Skills/Experience: High acuity experience preferred.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Patient population includes medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac patients. Assignments are typically 1-2 patients depending on acuity and may be 1-3 for lower-acuity patients or those with transfer orders. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common drips include Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS. Uses vents, high flow, BiPAP, and CPAP. Uses Phillips monitors; RNs read strips.

Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling. 3 weekend shifts per schedule. Holidays as required. No call.

Floating Requirements: May float within the High Acuity Float Pool to Critical Care Unit, Observation, Med Surg, General Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
