Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year Experience Required License: Pending NM/Compact License Accepted Certifications: BLS ACLS RCIS (Preferred) Must-Have: Cath Lab Experience Ability to Take Call for STEMI or Vascular Description: The position requires a registered nurse with experience in the Cath Lab. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role. The schedule includes four 10-hour shifts. On-call duty is required, with approximately 8-12 days of call per month. Candidates must be available to work every fourth weekend. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 20 to 30 patients. The unit operates with interdisciplinary support from various services. Required skills include circulating procedures, monitoring procedural sedation, and managing dysrhythmias. Previous charge experience is a plus. Travel experience is preferred, but not required. Orientation will be provided, but familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic, is beneficial.
