About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Dual Diagnosis position involves providing high-quality patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. Highlights Location: Manchester, CT Facility: Manchester Memorial Hospital Department/Unit: 91011-Inpatient Dual Diagnosis Schedule: Part Time, Night shift What You'll Do Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of patients' conditions and care needs. Educate patients and families regarding pain management. Develop and revise individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient responses. Follow the five medication rights to reduce potential medication errors. Document the nursing process and responses to care in a timely manner. Formulate teaching plans based on identified learning needs and evaluate effectiveness. Provide psychotherapeutic treatment to patients. Collaborate and communicate with all members of the treatment team. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Participate in Early Response codes and PMT refresher trainings.
