Office Assistant Part time 20 hours per week - Medical Services

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains contract's - creating, editing and renewing in contracting tracking system Liaison between Seven Counties and vendor Process invoices and follow up as needed. Files and maintains variety of correspondence, records, reports, and other documents including request for medical records and routing accordingly. Review incoming faxes and delegate appropriately. Help with processing the H1-B Visas (every 3 years) Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues. Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers and colleagues. The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

EDUCATION

HS/GED required. Some education beyond high school preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Three to four years' administrative experience using basic secretarial skills. Experience with contract knowledge preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Thorough understanding of office management procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position has no unusual physical demands.Occasional minor discomforts from continual exposure to video display terminal. Within the bounds of their respective job descriptions, all staff are expected to exercise principle-centered leadership, focused on customer service responsiveness, with a continuous quality improvement orientation. Additionally, all staff are expected to develop a working knowledge of and follow all policies and procedures related to safety management and other Joint Commission standards.
