Urology Nurse Practitioner

A well-established multispecialty healthcare group in Hagerstown, MD, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its neurology department.

Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform neurological evaluations, review patient histories, and assist with diagnostic and treatment planning

• Provide follow-up and ongoing management for patients with chronic neurological disorders

• Support inpatient neurology consultations as needed

• Collaborate closely with supervising neurologists, nurses, and allied health professionals

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR system

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care plans

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland

• Prior neurology experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

• Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
