Job Summary Join the Festival Foods Team as a Part-Time Deli Clerk! Reports to Deli Manager. Passion for food service and providing guests with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Join our retail grocery store environment where you'll play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service. Responsibilities Provide helpful service: excellent guest service, greet guests, answer questions, address concerns. Guest assistance: help guests locate items on or off sales floor, answer deli department phone. Order fulfillment: receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality. Customer service: address and resolve guest concerns promptly. Quality control: inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, replenish deli products on display. Inventory management: maintain proper inventory levels in deli storage. Food safety: maintain food safety logs and adhere to safety standards. Efficiency: meet quality standards and quantity expectations by 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Honor commitments: regular, timely attendance, adequate notice for absences. Support the team: other duties as assigned. Effective problem solving: quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic and stressful environment. Safety awareness: understanding of safety requirements and company policies. Food knowledge: knowledge of retail food business, perishable operations, merchandising skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
