It's time to look at Taylor.Your OpportunityPrecision Press, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Production Assembly and Support team member in our North Mankato-MN facility.Your Responsibilities:Perform various hand operations such as applying labels to products, cut, wrap products, use tape dispensers and the use of feet for flexion/repetitive motion as in operating foot controlsPack products in boxes and tape lids of boxes shut appropriately for proper shipping while inspecting product for any quality defectsStack, pack, and transport printed materials in various stages of completion on pallets as it accumulates on delivery tables of specific equipmentResponsible for reading and following specific job instructions to produce an order according to specMaintain attendance according to facility guidelines as well as be able to work constructively with co-workers, supervisors, vendors while performing daily responsibilities.Ability and willingness to float across departments and assist where neededFollow safety rules, procedures and standardsDuties may occasionally be performed while seated but will likely be performed while standingGeneral Examples: Crater/Packer II, Light Assembler II, Folder Operator Assistant, Floor Assembler II, General Laborer, Sr., Electronics Assembler I, Precision Assembler I, May operate base equipment when neededYour Shift:1st Shift; Thursday - Saturday with every other Sunday, 5am to 5pmYou Must Have:Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documentsAbility to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employeesAbility to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formRequirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandAbility to work in an environment with regular exposure to printing inks, solvents, and chemicals; required to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Regularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17 - 19. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
