Room Attendant
DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown El Paso is looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds and change linens, towels, and other room supplies.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean all areas of guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, and countertops.
- Replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
- Ensure guest rooms are properly organized and presented according to hotel standards.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
- Respond courteously to guest requests and questions.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow all hotel, housekeeping, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Respect guest privacy and hotel property.
- Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within established timeframes.
- Assist other Housekeeping team members as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must have a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and business needs
