Job Overview :

Southern Holiday Homes is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Reservations and Guest Services to oversee our reservations team and ensure a top-notch guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for customer service, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is key to maintaining our high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership :
  • Supervise and guide the reservations and guest services team.
  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities for staff.
  • Set clear performance goals and monitor progress, offering constructive feedback.
• Reservations Management :
  • Manage the reservations process to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agents and booking platforms.
  • Analyze reservation data and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Must have OTA experience.
• Guest Services :
  • Ensure a smooth and personalized guest experience from booking to departure.
  • Address and resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Operational Coordination :
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to improve operations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and property management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure effectively.
• Organizational skills with a focus on multitasking and attention to detail.
