Chief Inspector – FAA Part 145 / Part 21 We're partnering with a growing aerospace organization seeking an experienced Chief Inspector to lead Inspection and Quality Assurance within an FAA Part 145 modification environment. Location: Tampa, FL area Relocation: $10K–$15K EAP, Paid Vacation and Sick Leave, Key Responsibilities: Lead Inspection and Quality functions for an FAA Part 145 / Part 21 operation Serve as the primary authority for inspection, airworthiness, and return-to-service determinations Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, OpSpecs, Repair Station Manuals, and approved procedures Oversee aircraft, component, fabrication, and modification inspections Review and approve maintenance records, inspection reports, and return-to-service documentation Support engineering, prototype, and modification activities through conformity and quality oversight Lead, mentor, and develop the inspection team Support audits, quality systems, calibration programs, and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements: 8+ years of aviation quality, inspection, safety, or compliance experience Strong FAA Part 145 maintenance and/or Part 21 modification experience Background supporting aircraft structural modifications, avionics integration, or fabrication Ability to interpret engineering drawings, STCs, DER data, and approved technical documentation FAA A&P License required FAA IA and/or DAR authorization preferred Key Background: FAA Part 145 modification center experience is highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Colonial Staffing Group Inc.
