Commercial Lending Support Specialist

Join Mascoma Bank's Commercial Lending team and support lenders and borrowers throughout the loan process. This role is key to delivering a seamless, high-quality experience while ensuring loan documentation and workflows are accurate, timely, and compliant.

What You'll Do

• Provide administrative and operational support to commercial lenders.
• Coordinate borrower documentation and facilitate communication between lenders and credit administration.
• Support customer relationships by scheduling appointments, gathering loan information, and assisting with inquiries.
• Maintain credit files and assist with documentation, delinquency monitoring, and collateral tracking.
• Address borrower questions related to payments and loan details.
• Coordinate and support commercial loan closings, including documentation review and scheduling.
• Partner with attorneys, brokers, and internal teams on complex transactions.
• Manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines while providing excellent service.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of banking, lending support, or paralegal experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional presence aligned with Bank standards.

Location

This position is a hybrid role based in NH or VT with the ability to attend in person meetings within the Upper Valley.
