Pharmacy Technician

Provides and ensures an ongoing and efficient pharmacy department by managing the purchasing, distribution, and billing of medications to patients and appropriate nursing units. Maintenance of a neat and clean storeroom and performing functions necessary in pharmacy purchasing.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Ambulatory Pharmacy Services

Primary Work Shift: Day Rotational

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation Range: $22.97 - $34.46 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience:

• Minimum Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two Years Pharmacy Technician Experience
• Preferred:
  • 1 year purchasing experience

License/Certification:
