Customs Compliance SpecialistMiller International, Inc., designer of Cinch® and Cruel®, is searching for its newest team member at our headquarters in Denver, Colorado!We are seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist who will support the company's trade compliance program for Western apparel products. If you have a solid foundation in customs compliance, this is your opportunity to be part of something great!We want to hear from you if you possess the following skills, abilities, and qualifications:This position is in-office only.Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 AnnuallyAs a Customs Compliance Specialist, you would be responsible for:Maintain and update the company's HTS classification databaseExecute accurate HTS classification and valuation of products being imported/exportedProactively review the importing process to ensure all items are compliant before being released to shipPerform denied party screeningsResearch and analyze products for qualification for free trade agreementsCollect and issue USMCA/CUSMA CertificatesReview broker documents to ensure accuracyProvide guidance and support to internal teams on customs-related mattersIdentify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent delays, fines, and disruptions to the supply chainContribute to the development of import/export control compliance measuresRecommend improvements to systems and procedures to enhance efficiencySupport the relationship with Customs Brokers and other related providersAssist with requests for information from US Customs, other government agencies, Customs brokers, and freight forwardersMaintain accurate records and documentation of all customs transactionsOther tasks as assigned
