This position manages the coordination and facilitation of accessibility services and accommodations across the West Charleston, North Las Vegas, and Henderson campuses, as well as all CSN learning centers and satellite locations.The Manager must possess a robust working knowledge of assistive technology, auxiliary aids, and the regulatory implications of the ADA, Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Title IX, effectively determining how these legal standards apply to equitable participation for individuals with disabilities. The Manager assists the Director in training instructors, staff, and administrators on inclusive design, collaborating closely with campus stakeholders to identify and remove institutional barriers. This position collaborates directly with students, faculty, and staff to evaluate, define, and implement reasonable accommodations.Additionally, the Manager develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to support student success, including coordinating outreach and cultivating partnerships with agencies such as Vocational Rehabilitation, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and local educational partners. The Manager assists departmental leadership with the compilation, organization, and production of annual reports, unit plans, grant data, and institutional presentations. The position also assists with planning, administering, and monitoring departmental operational budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring compliance with grant-funded initiatives.The successful candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and de-escalation skills, with a proven ability to support students navigating academic stress or crisis.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Higher Education Administration, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university. **OR** an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Four years of related professional experience in human services, education, or compliance.* Two years of direct experience within college-level disability services or post-secondary academic support.* Demonstrated experience in the direct supervision and evaluation of professional and/or student staff.* Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to post-secondary disability operations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA), and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).* Foundational understanding of budgeting, allocation tracking, and financial management principles within a community college or university environment.**Preferred Qualifications*** Master’s degree in higher education, disability studies, law, student affairs, special education, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.**The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:*** Supervise, mentor, evaluate, and effectively lead Disability Specialists, Administrative Assistants, and part-time Service Providers.* Assess supporting clinical and psychoeducational documentation to determine and document reasonable academic and support animal accommodations under the ADA, Section 504, Title IX, and applicable regulations.* Act on behalf of the College to uphold and enforce relevant disability laws and institutional regulations.* Assist with departmental strategic planning, unit assessment plans, and College-wide strategic initiatives.* Maintain up-to-date, authoritative knowledge regarding relevant disability legislation and shifting institutional compliance mandates.* Provide professional consultation and training to faculty, staff, and administrators regarding disability law and universal design in higher education.* Build collaborative relationships and provide mediation when appropriate for faculty, staff, family members, and students regarding accommodation disputes.* Provide direct support, guidance, and institutional advocacy for students with approved accommodations.* Ensure seamless implementation of approved accommodations, maintaining regular communication with instructional faculty.* Oversee student accommodation records and secure databases, updating forms, internal resources, and digital websites, as necessary.* Refer students experiencing academic or personal difficulty to internal academic support and campus well-being resources.* Partner with faculty to proactively support students experiencing academic progression challenges.* Serve on the Shared Governance Committee and participate in college committees, task forces, and workgroups as assigned.* Coordinate community outreach activities and cultivate sustainable partnerships with the Clark County School District (CCSD), Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and other community stakeholders.* Participate in the authoring, editing, and distribution of public-facing institutional information concerning disability services.* Maintain strict department statistics regarding student enrollment and service expenditures, utilizing enterprise software such as AIM, Watermark, Workday, and PeopleSoft.* Assist with operational budget management, monitoring funding allocations, tracking expenditures, and supporting grant-funded compliance parameters.* Troubleshoot student needs, interpret complex institutional policies, and mediate highly sensitive or confidential student concerns.* Apply proven de-escalation techniques and support students experiencing acute stress, emotional distress, or crisis barriers impacting academic success.**Salary information:**Administrative Faculty D -
