Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week (48-Hour Option Available)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry assignment in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong telemetry and medical-surgical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings accurately.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Respond effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient status.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required.

• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel assignments.

• Current AHA BLS Certification required.

• Current AHA ACLS Certification required.

• Strong telemetry interpretation and acute care nursing skills.

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
