Store Manager Responsibilities Strategically drive business to achieve store sales and profitability goals. Create a memorable in‑store environment by inspiring the team to provide exceptional customer service. Consistently exhibit best practices in customer service, sales generation, and customer outreach. Drive customer service excellence across store appearance, merchandise display, product placement, and selling procedures. Consistently achieve and exceed total store goals and KPIs set by the Company. Recruit, hire, and retain a high‑performing management and associate team. Direct and supervise daily staff activities. Provide recognition and constructive feedback to encourage growth. Develop and train internal talent to build a strong bench for future leadership. Ensure the store meets all Company standards for merchandising, visual presentation, safety, functionality, and security, and complies with all relevant regulations. Develop and maintain clienteling processes and standards and ensure associate participation. Communicate Company history, brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers to support sales. Set standards for a neat and organized stockroom, storage, and shipping/receiving areas for efficient product access. Manage and adhere to operational processes, policies, and functionality related to people, merchandise, security, loss prevention, and facility maintenance. Partner with the corporate retail team to build community relationships and events to drive traffic and sales. Perform tasks to support smooth store operations, including timely personnel paperwork, report submission, and sales receipt/cash monitoring. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with corporate to maximize sales via replenishment and communication. Manage inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Perform any additional duties necessary to support the business. Qualifications College degree in Business or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience, with 3+ in a supervisory/management position in a customer‑service focused retail apparel environment. Strong computer skills – proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with POS systems, inventory management functions, retail merchandising concepts, and visual concepts. Proven ability to analyze sales reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to drive sales results. Ability to interpret policies and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent time‑management skills. Additional Requirements Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently. Bending, stooping, or kneeling required – frequently. Climbing ladders – occasionally. Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours). Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
