Mail Clerk/Material Handler Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $15.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00pm to 05:00pm )
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence.
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including weighing, labeling, and posting items.
- Maintain records of registered, certified, and express mail.
- Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, copiers, and folding machines.
Mail Clerk/Material Handler Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mail handling, warehouse, or material handling preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials/packages throughout the shift (often up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail for sorting, labeling, and tracking mail or inventory accurately.
- Basic reliability requirements, including steady attendance and ability to follow safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
