Division Order Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Division Order Analyst to join a team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in a contract role with permanent potential. This position focuses on analyzing ownership documentation, maintaining accurate owner records, and supporting timely revenue distribution within an oil and gas environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and accuracy.Responsibilities:• Examine complex legal and title materials, including deeds, title opinions, probate records, assignments, and operating agreements, to determine correct ownership interests.• Establish division orders for newly acquired or developed leases and update ownership records as changes occur.• Maintain owner account information such as mailing details, payment preferences, tax-related data, and banking instructions with a high level of accuracy.• Investigate and resolve suspense items that delay owner disbursements, ensuring payment issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly.• Support unclaimed property activities by assisting with escheatment requirements and helping maintain compliance across applicable jurisdictions.• Partner with internal teams to meet recurring distribution deadlines and help ensure revenue payments are processed accurately and on schedule.• Contribute to acquisition reviews, audit support, due diligence efforts, data conversion activities, and other departmental initiatives as needed.• Assist with year-end reporting tasks, including preparation support for 1099 and 1042 documentation, while identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
