Manufacturing Engineering Technician

About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for our client who is a growing company in the manufacturing industry. They are seeking an individual with a passion for engineering and problem-solving to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production process by utilizing your technical knowledge to improve processes, resolve issues, and ensure efficient operation. Responsibilities and Duties Support production processes through proactive problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct testing and analysis on production equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency Design and implement modifications and upgrades to production equipment and processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes Train and support production personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of production equipment Develop and maintain technical documentation and records Qualifications and Skills Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and train others Working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or related role Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Manufacturing and Engineering Industries Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Manufacturing, and Engineering Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
