Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing Equipment & Automation Are you a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving real-world manufacturing challenges? We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing Equipment & Automation to support advanced manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on the production floor, enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, and is passionate about improving reliability, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance. What You'll Do Support equipment reliability, uptime, and manufacturing performance Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems on automated production equipment Work directly with robotics and machine vision systems supporting production operations Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and equipment reliability Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and production teams Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies Provide support for basic PLC controls troubleshooting and automation systems Equipment & Technologies Cognex Datalogic Epson ABB Siemens SMC Festo What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on engineering experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience within a manufacturing environment Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and robotics Knowledge of: Bearings Drives Motors Actuators Sensors Mechanical assemblies Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics Basic electrical controls troubleshooting experience Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement experience Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills Self-starter who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor and making an immediate impact Why Consider This Opportunity?
