Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Research Assistant to join our research team studying breast cancer using advanced human organ-on-a-chip models. The successful candidate will assist with cell culture, molecular biology, and microphysiological system experiments aimed at understanding the mechanisms underlying cancer metastasis. This position provides excellent hands-on research experience for individuals interested in pursuing graduate school, medical school, or careers in biomedical research. Required Qualifications Prior mammalian cell culture experience (required) Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow experimental protocols and maintain detailed laboratory records Ability to work independently after training Commitment of at least 6 months Responsibilities Maintain and expand mammalian cell cultures Assist with organ-on-a-chip experiments Perform routine laboratory procedures and sample preparation Assist with molecular biology assays and data collection Compensation Compensation will be commensurate with experience and Stanford University policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
