Job Summary Lead continuous improvement and data integrity initiatives within the Asset Management & Gas Operations Business Unit to deliver reliable services to internal and external customers. Apply engineering best practices, develop technology solutions, and verify quality data for Operations on the gas distribution system. Own and manage the state-wide Geographic Information System (GIS), oversee vendor support, GIS quality assurance teams, and coordinate capital projects and O&M budgets. Supervise multiple teams, providing technical leadership and day‑to‑day work oversight across concurrent projects. Key Accountabilities Supervise resources to meet or exceed customer/client satisfaction, capital and O&M budget targets, and provide coaching and feedback to employees. Plan, schedule, monitor, and control work to achieve customer expectations; develop RFPs and vendor contracts with appropriate terms and deliverables. Establish and monitor data‑integrity goals for Operations, government reporting, and internal clients. Manage GIS system conversions, applications, and data maintenance to meet schedules using available resources. Champion change by building consensus, fostering innovative programs, and driving performance at all levels. Supervise a team of represented personnel responsible for GIS mapping or As‑Built diagram completion. Handle Collective Bargaining Agreement administration for represented staff. Minimum Education & Experience High School Diploma and six years of related experience. Associate’s degree and four years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications Technical associate degree in Computer‑Aided Design, Cartography, Surveying, or related field. Expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and enterprise IT systems. Experience leading a represented workforce. Other Requirements Working knowledge of financial and economic analysis, budgeting, and risk management. Working knowledge of GIS systems and supporting hardware/software. Understanding of natural gas systems (transmission and distribution). Ability to develop goals, measures, and targets supporting organizational objectives. Ability to devise recommendations and implement solutions.
