The pay range for a Transportation Account Manager is $43,680 - $74,880 + yearly (based on experience). We are also offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus!

Work Arrangement: This position offers a remote work option for residents in the Houston, TX area.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

What You Will Do:

• Manages a book of insurance business with strong autonomy, decision-making, and accountability for retention and client satisfaction
• Delivers professional service to clients, carriers, underwriters, and partners while supporting Producers in growing and maintaining business
• Oversees all transactions, documentation, and internal processing for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Analyzes clients' coverage needs, compares policy options, monitors industry changes, and provides informed recommendations
• Acts as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve complex service, claims, and billing issues, including negotiating with underwriters when needed
• Documents all interactions in agency systems and supports training and mentorship of junior team members

Our Ideal Candidate:

• An active Property & Casualty license in Texas
• High school or equivalent
• Effective and precise telephone etiquette
• 2+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, particularly in the trucking and transportation sector
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and on a team
• Precise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to deliver a tailored, white-glove experience to all clients

Preferred Attributes:

• Fluency in Spanish is welcome but not required
• Bachelor's Degree or 1+ year(s) of relevant sales experience
