Job Description International Tech – Quality Engineer

Top Skills: Strong Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD, and Test Automation/Manual Testing

Ideal candidate will have experience with technical test automation using Node.js and TestCafe

Will work on Walmart Commerce Platform (WCP) project, covering both MX & CA markets

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of testing experience in large-scale web and/or e-commerce applications
• 3+ years of experience on leading test activities on mobile, desktop and responsive web platforms
• Well-versed in JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD, and Test Automation/Manual Testing
• Experience testing applications and knowledge of technologies such as REST,
• Experience with web and mobile technologies HTML, XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript, Node.js, typescript
• Experience with environment configurations, defect tracking, build or release management and debugging tools

Responsibilities:

• Create Automation Test Suite for In-sprint/E2E Automation
• Carry out Manual Testing for In-Sprint/E2E regression if required
• Perform E2E regression for all the App, CCM & GQL releases
• Create Looper Jobs and maintain automation test execution via Looper
• Configure sauce lab to run the test cross platform
• Configure Applitools to integrate visual testing for the automation test suite
• Maintain International library and keep updating new functionalities
• Review PR which are tagged to International automation team

Additional Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and drive the end-to-end testing initiatives through automation
• Work closely with partner teams and contribute to QE validation as necessary for international markets
• Drive large scale and complex E2E integration testing efforts across various teams and systems (through automation)
• Plan test schedules and drive test execution activities based on E2E integration testing
• Provide clear visibility on plans, communicate issues/risks and progress to the team and leadership to resolve quality issues on time and keep the project schedule on track
• Participate in improving test processes, propose new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product
