Details Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with 228 staffed beds Required case types include General, Ortho, Endo/Lap, GYN, and Robotics Preferred case experience in Spine/Joint, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, Thoracic, Bari, and ENT Every other weekend and every other holiday required Weekend call required, 3 shifts per month (7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a) On-call required, 2 weeknights per month (11p-7a) No floating within scope or to sister facilities required Uses SIS charting system Requirements NBSTSA certification required BLS certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Trauma Level I experience preferred Valid state license required at time of consideration (if applicable) Two supervisor references required for consideration Additional Information Support surgical procedures across a broad range of specialties in a high-acuity trauma teaching hospital Scrubs provided by facility First-time travelers accepted Local candidates accepted One RTO request permitted Previous employees must have a 1-year gap since last assignment to reapply Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 required These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
