Temporary Courier

Messenger Position

Operates a company vehicle throughout the Omaha metro area. Accountable for the timely and accurate delivery and pickup of all incoming and outgoing mail, which includes rush orders, product cases, and bank deposits. Maintains company vehicles used for messenger duties.

This is a temporary position on 1st shift. Plan on working Monday - Friday, from 6am - 2pm with some weekends in December. Subject to change based on business needs.

Major Job Responsibilities/Job Duties:

• Picks up, delivers, and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail and interoffice communications for all OSI Divisions, including the Omaha Retail locations.
• Delivers various types of supplies, samples, product and equipment to all OSI divisions and outside vendors. Completes daily tracking form.
• Handles extra errands and deliveries as requested in a professional and polite manner. This can include deliveries to employees' home address.
• Picks up and delivers confidential documents to Company attorneys, insurance companies, and mail shops. Delivers bulk mailings and postage check deposits to the Post Office as required.
• Processes incoming mail orders and check pendings and ensures accuracy while sorting and batching; delivers to OP in a timely manner. Fills out forms and emails for tracking.
• Responsible for timely delivery of bank deposits from Accounting and Order Processing Departments.
• Maintains Company vehicle and performs other related duties as assigned.
• Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Courier service preferred and familiarity with the Metro Omaha Area.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to make decisions, and work independently.
