What You'll Do

• Provide patient care for obstetric and high-risk obstetric patients during night shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, utilizing Epic electronic health records
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Assist with surgical procedures and emergency interventions when necessary

What You Need

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics or labor and delivery
• Epic EMR system experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM

• Experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Experience caring for 200-300 births per month
• Ability to adapt to float requirements between units
